July 2013: a technician came to my home and replaced the damaged monitor, but that was the result:
I sent my iMac to assistance, they replaced me the monitor once again and sent it back to me. But the new one still had the same issue, even if less evident:
So I called the support center once again, they apologised and asked me to send the computer to their offices, again, for a week more.
They made some tests before sending me the machine back, and this time there wasn’t trace of any persistent image.
But after a couple of months… other burned pixels appeared
This time Apple support said me to contact the nearest Apple Store. I did it and they replaced me the monitor.
But after a couple of months… persistent image, again
So Apple decided that the problem could be due to the machine itself, and WOW they sent me a brand new iMac
The new iMac has arrived on December 2014, but, unfortunately…
But Apple has got a great customer support, so they sent to me a brand new iMac
The third iMac has arrived on January 2015, but, unfortunately, again…
So… can anyone recommend a good monitor to use instead of the default one.
